Alfred Placeres, President of the New York State Federation of Hispanic Chambers of Commerce (NYSFHCC), endorsed Mike, praising his Five Borough Economic Opportunity Plan and his support for small businesses. NYSFHCC, which serves over 15,000 Hispanic businesses and organizations, has worked toward creating more opportunities for the Hispanic business community for over 25 years.
Demetrius Kalamaras, President of the Federation of Hellenic Societies of Greater New York, a nonprofit that supports the Hellenic-American community, endorsed Mike, stressing his success in keeping our city safe and economically strong.

Our campaign’s latest TV ad features Congresswoman Carolyn McCarthy. This follows her endorsement of Mike, citing his fight against illegal guns, drastic crime reduction and strong support of women’s issues as major reasons behind her support.
The New York City District of Carpenters, with over 25,000 members, endorsed Mike for re-election, adding to the Mayor’s already substantial union support. Michael Forde, the union’s Executive Secretary Treasurer, said Mike “has the skill and experience to lead New York City through difficult times.”
The New York City Log Cabin Republicans, the local chapter of the country's only organization of Republicans who support equality for gay and lesbian Americans, endorsed Mike, citing his stance on marriage equality and his economic leadership.
A group of influential LGBT community leaders have come together to form "LGBT for Mike". This group includes Richard Socarides, attorney and former Special Assistant to President Clinton, and Florent Morellet, community activist and eponymous restaurateur. Peter Papanicolaou, President of the Cyprus Federation of America, endorsed Mike, citing his steady economic leadership. The New York-based Cyprus Federation of America has worked for over 50 years to promote Cypriot heritage and culture.

Maria Thomson of the Greater Woodhaven Development Corporation, a nonprofit organization that for over twenty years has worked to ensure the viability of the Woodhaven community and its local businesses, endorsed Mike, citing his record on education.
The New York Community Times, a Chinese language weekly newspaper, endorsed Mike today, adding to the Mayor’s already impressive list of newspaper endorsements. Published in Chinese and distributed in Queens, Manhattan, and Brooklyn, the newspaper also endorsed Mayor Bloomberg in 2005.
Local Twelve, the New York City Heat and Frost Insulators union with over 1,000 active and retired members, today announced that it is endorsing Mike for re-election. Local Twelve is known as the “Green Jobs” union.
Mohammad Razvi, a Muslim and Interfaith community leader, has worked with the City over the last 7 years to improve relations between all faith based communities. Mohammad has also worked to improve relations between law enforcement and the Muslim community as well as raising awareness about sensitivities to all communities.
Bishop Cecil G. Riley of the Brooklyn-based Freedom Hall Church of God endorsed Mike. Bishop Riley, who is also the head of a network of churches throughout the U.S., is an influential leader in the New York City West Indian community.

At his Manhattan campaign headquarters on Sunday, Mayor Bloomberg received the endorsement of the Sergeants Benevolent Association. The association, comprised of approximately 10,000 working and retired NYPD sergeants, acts as an advocate for those who work on the front line of the largest metropolitan police department in the U.S.

Mayor Mike Bloomberg was endorsed by Boris Kandov, President ofthe Bukharian Jewish Congress, an organization founded in New York City in 1999 by immigrants of Central Asia. Serving 40,000 Bukharian Jews and based in the Forest Hills area of Queens, the Bukharian Jewish Congress works on behalf of the needs of the community.
