Mayor Bloomberg hosted a ticker-tape parade through NYC for the Super Bowl XLVI champion New York Giants, followed by a celebration at City Hall, where he gave the champs keys to the city.

The Giants Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots was an incredible win for NYC, and the ticker-tape parade was another big win for New Yorkers and the city’s small businesses.

Before the parade, the mayor announced the parade would have an economic impact of between $19 million and $38 million, providing yet another boost to NYC’s booming tourist industry.

The costs of the parade were offset by the official sponsors, including: Duane Reade, Hackensack University Medical Center, Hospital for Special Surgery, MasterCard, MetLife, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Pepsi, PVH, Stop & Shop, Timex, Toyota, WFAN Radio and Walgreen’s.
