Jewish Democratic Council of America Receives $250,000 Contribution from Mike Bloomberg

The Jewish Democratic Council of America’s JDCA PAC Partners with Bloomberg
to Reach Jewish Voters Across Florida in Support of Biden

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Mike Bloomberg today announced a $250,000 contribution to the Jewish Democratic Council of America’s Super PAC, JDCA PAC, to support the group’s digital outreach campaign targeting Jewish voters in Florida.

The support of Jewish voters in key swing states will be critical in determining the outcome of the election. This is especially the case Florida, where support from an overwhelming majority of 722,000 eligible Jewish voters – 4.2 percent of the Florida electorate – could help Joe Biden overcome Trump’s 2016 margin of victory in the state. According to recent polling, Jewish voters support Biden and trust him more than Trump on every issue, including Israel.

For months, JDCA and JDCA PAC have been energizing Jewish voters in Florida in support of Joe Biden with its voter mobilization campaign, which includes digital ads, phone banking and text banking. JDCA’s campaign has reached hundreds of thousands of Jewish voters in Florida multiple times with a message of support for Biden.

“Jewish voters can and will make the difference in Florida in support of Joe Biden, and it’s the key to winning the White House this November,” said JDCA board chair and former U.S. Rep. from Florida Ron Klein. “We know Jewish voters overwhelmingly support Democrats and we know they turn out to vote. We also know how to reach them in order to elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and we won’t stop until we ensure victory in November. We are grateful to have the support of Mayor Bloomberg, who deeply shares our commitment to ensuring Florida goes Blue and has invested in mobilizing Jewish voters.”

“Every vote will matter in Florida, and Jewish voters in Florida have the chance to vote for a president who will unite us, not divide us,” said Mike Bloomberg. “Joe Biden will be that president, and I’m glad to support the Jewish Democratic Council of America PAC as they reach Jewish voters online throughout the state of Florida and encourage them to vote for Joe and Kamala.”

This is part of Mike Bloomberg’s commitment to spend $100 million in Florida to support Vice President Joe Biden in defeating Donald Trump through advertising and a strong ground game to get out the vote in communities across Florida.
