Mike Bloomberg’s Response to EPA Administrator Pruitt’s Rollback of Emissions Standards
APR. 02, 2018
The following is Mike Bloomberg's response to the EPA's decision to roll back emissions standards:
"As the administration tries to take the nation backwards, more than a dozen states - led by California - are pushing ahead, and we hope more will join. Washington can't stop cities, states and businesses from transforming transportation and driving down emissions. If anything, we expect this misguided move to spur even more bottom-up progress."

IN MIKE'S WORDS
There are so many facets to climate change that make it difficult to address, but you don’t give up just because it’s difficult. You work harder.
70% of the world's greenhouse gas emissions come from cities.
Cities also present the greatest opportunities for protecting the environment. Mayors around the world are rising to the challenge.
