Op-Ed: NYC’s Congestion Pricing Is Good for the US

Mass transit is the lifeblood of a city. Improving it for the workers in the nation’s economic capital benefits all Americans.

I understand the arguments against congestion pricing. I’ve been hearing them for nearly 20 years, ever since our administration first proposed it back in 2007. No one likes to pay more.

But here’s the truth of the matter: Congestion pricing is good for New York’s — and the whole nation’s — economy.
